Using the latest synthetic and purification technologies, NOF manufactures and supplies highly purified lipid derivatives (COATSOME® Series) suitable for lipid emulsion formulations, liposome formulations and lipid nanoparticle formulations which are extensively used for pharmaceuticals. Various kinds and grades of phospholipids are readily available. In addition, we can respond to requests from our customers with tailor-made synthesis of any phospholipids with the desired structures.

We also offer novel lipid derivatives especially for the nucleic acids delivery.

When PEGylated lipids are used as liposomes or lipid nanoparticles, the aqueous corona at the liposome surface facilitates stable dispersion in aqueous solutions and increase stability in vivo.

Research & Development of Lipids

Our R&D facility was opened in December 2005. This allows us to continue our development of novel phospholipids and lipids such as SS-cleavable lipid and Polyglycerin-phospholipid.
