Biocompatible Coating Polymer

Biocompatible Coating Polymers

Lipidure®-CM

Biocompatible coating polymer suppresses cell and protein adsorption on the surface. Lipidure®-CM coated surface is covered with phosphorylcholine units. Any cells and proteins do not adhere to the surface. Lipidure® can be coated on plastics such as PET, PMMA, PS (PSt), PU, PC, PE, and PP, glass, ceramics, and metals such as SUS, titanium, and gold.

Coating Method of biocompatible coating polymer

PC surface can be made by coating with Lipidure®-CM. The following figure shows the relationship between “the number of times the coating was applied” and “the thickness of the coating film”. The thickness of the Lipidure®-CM coating film is calculated by weight measurement. These data are examples in the case of dip coating. The thickness was controlled by adjusting the number of times of a coating was applied and the concentration of Lipidure® in the coating solution.

Lipidure-CM5206 can be coated on the following materials:

  • Glass
  • Plastic (PET, PMMA, PSt, PU, PC, PE, PP)
  • Metal (SUS, Titanium, Gold)
  • Ceramic

Feature of biocompatible coating polymer
