Abstract:
We demonstrate that SS-lipid bearing LNPs stimulate humoral or cellular immune responses, in particular, remarkably high cytotoxic T-cell responses and the spleen-selective cytotoxic T-cell responses. These responses were shown to be effective in limiting growth of tumor cells in a disseminated disease model. Furthermore, we achieved the development of freeze-dried LNPs which were stable for at least 3 months at room temperature, potentially leading to avoiding the cold-chain limitation of conventional mRNA vaccines.
